Novice Wins Congressional Primary Race Against All Odds

Our Client Candidate for U.S. Congress.
Challenge Our client was a new candidate who wanted to win the nomination from his political party for Congress, but was concerned that he didn't have the years of networking, name recognition, and campaign dollars to compete. The client problem was how to locate the active voters, create name recognition and make an emotional connection to create a voting constituency. And to do it with a budget that was a fraction of his competitor's campaign funds.
Solution Response Technologies designed and implemented a program to meet the needs and budget of the client by targeting areas where voters have a high propensity to vote and what candidates they supported. Our campaign included the following components:
  • Producing an easy-to-read voter precinct map showing weighted turnout that allowed the candidate to focus his efforts and budget dollars where they would have the most impact.
  • Developing the database of voting residents living within targeted precincts and districts.
  • Analyzing abbreviated psycho-demographics for each major political boundary.
  • Executing direct mail, automated phone list and block walking list for the selected population.
The Results Response Technologies focused, integrated and well-planned efforts produced the desired result…the candidate won the election.
